Hmmm…
I guess in order to stay with my quota of at least one post per week, I should post one today since it's been a week since my last post.
I would just like to comment on how wonderful the weather was yesterday. I was in a t-shirt, capris, and flip-flops! It was such odd weather for January in Oregon. Today, it was back to typical winter weather. The thermometer currently reads 42.8° F.
I have two midterms this week. One in Fundamentals of Public Speaking on Wednesday and the other is a take-home final in Psychology that is due on Thursday. I don't think the Public Speaking one will be too hard as we have covered everything that will be on it pretty extensively.
However, the Psychology one will most likely be difficult as our teacher doesn't really teach. She'll VERY briefly cover the chapter and then group presentations cover other parts of the chapter. There are a few disadvantages to this. One is that you are unable to take notes as the presentations are verbal and often hard to hear due to the noisy fan in the middle of the room that cannot be turned off. Another disadvantage to the group presentations is that some of the groups choose to search the topic on the Internet rather than the book which means we aren't learning what we're going to be tested on. Yet another disadvantage is that for the first few presentations, she didn't assign sections to the groups so there were only 3 or 4 topics discussed by seven groups. The final disadvantage is that we don't cover an entire chapter before moving onto the next one. I think we've only covered the first half of all the chapters that we have gone through.
On another note, I recently discovered that I am able to type my blog posts on Microsoft Word and post them directly to my blog just by clicking a button. You can do this by going to the Office Button, clicking on New and then when the dialogue box comes up, click Blog Post. You can then link your blog to Microsoft Word and publish at the click of a button. Very convenient AND you can spell check your blog which I don't think you can do on blogger.com.
That's all for now.

FOOD!!!
In the past week, I have accomplished two culinary feats.
The first was a pumpkin cheesecake. I can't recall where I got the recipe from. It was quite delicious. However, there are a few things that I am going to tweak if I make it again. For one, I will reduce the cream cheese some as the cheesecake was a little bit too moist for my liking. Also, I think I will bake the crust for less time than the recipe says to. I found that after baking it with the filling and the topping (a total of three baking times) it was too hard and proves to be a challenge when getting a piece from the pan.
While making the pumpkin cheesecake, I discovered a flaw in my spring-form pan. I have found that it is almost impossible to put the pan back together by myself after taking it apart to get a slice out.
The second feat was waffles. I know, such a simple thing to make. However, I've never actually made them myself. The major accomplishment within making the waffles was the beating of the eggs. I have beaten them before, but this is the first time I have been able to beat them all the way. Normally, I need help as my arms hurt too much for me too finish as it is quite hard to do (I guess Just Dance 2 is paying off).
We had the waffles with Gene's cased sausage for dinner tonight. They were quite delicious. I had mine with my usual applesauce and cream. Mom had the same and Dad had the stereotypical butter and maple syrup.
Well, I'm off to eat a piece of my cheesecake. Yum! :)

The weather
I would just like to give my two cents about the weather. It is stupid. It can't decide if it wants to be a warmish cold or a cold cold. Yesterday, it was warmish cold. Today, it is just plain cold. Is it too much to ask for a nice, warmer day? I know this is Oregon and I know it's winter, but come on.
That is all for now. I would just like to point out how well I am doing at keeping up on this blog. Three posts in less than one week? That's good for me.

Is it gonna work?
I just downloaded an app on my iPod that is supposed to let me post on my blog. Let's hope it works.
Here we go...
So, this is my second attempt at creating a blog. The first one wasn't very successful. (I can't even remember what it was called.) Hopefully this one will be better. My plan is to do at least one post a week, maybe more. This might be hard to do as there are some times in which I don't really have any thing to talk about. Then again, there are other times when all I want to do is talk and it will appear as though I am rambling.
Sometimes my topics will be totally random with no reasoning as to why I am posting about the topic. Other times, I will be venting. (These posts will be filled with sarcasm.)
This brings me to a point that I feel I should point out. I am VERY sarcastic. So if I appear to sound rude or you just don't get why I'm saying what I'm saying, it's most likely sarcasm.
As promised, here is my shout out to Emily. - I MISS YOU!!! COME BACK HOME AND SEE ME!!!
